The Henry's Fork Pipes and Drums were inaugurated in 2004 when David Rock and Jason Lenz, a bagpiper and a drummer, respectively, began meeting together for weekly practice sessions. The band is an all volunteer group of dedicated individuals ranging from beginners to award-winning competitors. Our goal is simple: to promote, practice and perform bagpipe music at our highest possible level. Based in Madison County, Idaho, we are pleased to entertain and inspire audiences throughout the Western United States in a variety of events including parades, commemorations, memorial services, weddings, private parties, church services, fundraising events, pipe band exhibitions and competitions. Our music includes a diverse assortment of marches, hornpipes, jigs, strathspeys, reels and slow airs in the traditional Scottish style. Complementing the distinctive sound of the pipes is our drum section consisting of snares, tenors and bass drum. Rehearsals are held weekly in Madison County. Private or group lessons can be arranged, and new members are always welcome!
